- Pulp Fiction (1994)
- Inception (2010)
Enigmatic as it shows a city folding in on itself. Enigmatic title does not give any thing away about the film
- Se7en (1995)
The poster for Seven looks like a horror thriller because there
the seven sins written down the middle of the poster and they each have a red strike through them which looks as though they have been crossed from a list. The picture looks as though it is washed or stained with a liquid, possibly blood. The images of Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt are slightly transparent.
- Cape Fear (1962)
The cover for Cape Fear follows genre conventions with the use of a strange and intense background which appears to be red lightning. The use of a close and separately a low angle add general connotations towards the characters that are shown in the poster. The tagline adds to the Thriller genre as it says "The original masterpiece of revenge, confrontation and murder!"
-Reservoir Dogs (1992)
Reservoir dogs is evidently a thriller
The poster for this film clearly follows genre conventions. It shows two men pointing guns at each other yet only one man is visible giving a feeling of suspense. The four men at the bottom of the screen are silhouetted giving it mystery and the general tone of a thriller
